If you only knew me you would think this is very humorous! Let’s just say I’m not the weight lifting type, but our golf coach insists that building muscle will help our swing and give us more distance. Tuesday was our first day in the weight room, so we got introduced to all the machines. We lifted weights and ran which lasted three hours. I felt really good about myself. I am actually looking forward to Spring Break this year. That’s besides the fact that I’ll be at golf courses instead of the beach. I’ll still be lookin’ good! Ha! Our coach told us to eat a lot of protein, so I decided to go to a health food store to buy some protein bars. Not knowing much about them I decided to buy the ones that are half off because they were a lot cheaper. I am a cheap person, but I guess most college students are. Tuesday I grabbed my protein bar for lunch thinking how this could honestly taste this bad. It was hard to even eat it. I would break off a little piece then drink a lot of water. It took about 45 minutes to eat a little bar. After workouts I laid down on my couch and could not get up! I worked out muscles I didn’t even know I had! I feel like I’m so old. We hit balls Wednesday, and I could hardly move to swing the club! Surprisingly I wasn’t hitting as bad as I had expected! Next time y’all see me I’ll be in the world’s strongest woman’s contest! Ha! Just kidding, but I will be a lot stronger!
